An outrageous comedy by Amy and David Sedaris about Sister Liz, a talented cheese ball maker trying to escape her secluded, Amish-like Squeamish community. Will she make it? Find out!

We’re thrilled to present Colette Uncensored, a thrilling look into the famous author’s passionate quest as a writer, a woman, a pioneer for social change, and a lover. Co-written and performed by renowned Bay Area actor Lorri Holt, Colette Uncensored has been described as “having a conversation with the most interesting person you have ever met.”

The Nevada Theatre may be dark this month, but we’re lighting it up with two plays, two Theater by the Book reboots, and a special benefit concert for the Nevada Theatre and Sierra Theatre Company.

A panel of casting representatives from Sierra Theatre Company, Community Asian Theatre of the Sierra (CATS), Lyric Rose, LeGacy Presents, Astonishing Theatre, and Truckee Community Theatre are excited to see new (and familiar!) local talent at our upcoming open auditions.

MONOLOGUE, MUSIC, and MOVEMENT auditions.

Auditioners may participate in either the monologue session or music session, or both.

Movement session is optional, but highly recommended for consideration for musicals!
